He is a Fellow of the Aeronautical Society of India and actively participates in various aviation forums in the Country.
Mr. Sen is an aviation journalist for over four decades. He has been Editor-in-Chief of Indian Aviation — Civil & Military and currently he is on the board of Aviation & Defence Universe and Aviation World. He is the promoter of Aero MRO India — Aerospace & Defence, India’s only International Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul exhibition and conference. He has served as Member of the sub-committee on civil aviation in the tenth Planning Commission. Currently as the Founder of MRO Association of India, he is actively involved with various ministries to create a level playing field for the MRO companies in India and overseas companies intending to set up shops here.
Mr.R.N.Johri is a successful entrepreneur, great visionary and an inspiring leader. Post completion of his Aircraft Maintenance Engineering in 1987, Mr. Johri has acquired over 3 decades of experience in aviation, during which he held various responsible positions in many reputed aviation companies. He founded the world-class MRO Aman Aviation & Aerospace Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, in 2006 and has been successfully managing it as the Chairman and Managing Director. Mr. Johri ventured in helicopter operations in 2010 and was the first person to introduce Helicopter Joy Rides commercially. He is also a Lifetime member of the Aeronautical Society and the Rotary Wing Society of India.
Mr. Chitnis, is a young professional in the MRO Industry with over a decade of experience. After passing out for Bombay Flying Club as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer in 2001, he joined Air India Engineering Service Ltd. as an apprentice. After which he served with GoAir, an Indian LCC for a year before branching out to join Interior Aero Services where he was instrumental in setting up Interiors India Seat & Galley Insert MRO, getting the facility DGCA approval, generating & originating business from Airlines, MRO’s pan India, identify & recruit the right & skilled talent for MRO team and was also responsible for leading a team and setting up Interface for Line maintenance of Recaro seats fitted on Jet Airways Airbus 330 & Boeing 77 aircraft at Mumbai and Delhi stations. He rose up to be a Director at Interior Aero Services India. Currently, Mr. Chitnis is the Regional Manager – Indian Subcontinent & Middle East at IPECO.
Mr. Mansingh , the founding director of CAV Aero Services LLP engaged in field of Consultancy, Asset Management, Fleet Technical Management and Training is an Electrical Engineer with specialization in Materials Management from IIMM/Bangalore. He holds a Diploma in General Management from HAL Staff College/Bangalore. He has more than 25 years of experience in aviation covering manufacturing, cargo & passenger airline operation and heavy maintenance. Expertise covers start up project, Merger, Regulatory affair, Logistics, Aircraft Upgrade & Modification, Heavy Maintenance, Fleet Technical Management, IT/ERP implementation in aviation domain, Heavy maintenance facility set up, International Ferry and Ground Support Equipment Management.
Capt. Gelli is One of the founders of the Rotary Wing Society of India & past President Western Region. Has over 45 years of aviation experience and over 5500 hours of accident free flying record on various types of helicopters. He has more than 20 years of work experience in Aviation management. He has been presented with many awards including " Life time achievement for Outstanding contribution to the Helicopter Industry, Igor Sikorsky Award for highest safety record in the industry etc". He was nominated member in many of the committees set up by DGCA to look into the issues affecting the Industry.
Mr. Tomar has been an engineer in India’s aviation industry since 1980 when he began working for Indian Airlines. In 1996, he joined Jet Airways, which was still in its infancy, and rose to the dual positions of Vice President, Engineering & Maintenance and Chief of Flight Safety. After his retirement from Jet, he went to form his own aviation consultancy Tomar Aviation Services. He is a lifetime member of the Aeronautical Society of India
